At Mordeo, hospitality runs deep in our blood. Through three generations of chefs, providers, and restaurateurs from both sides of our family, we were born into the rhythm of the kitchen. As children, we woke to the comforting aromas of Southern European breakfasts being lovingly prepared — moments that instilled in us a lifelong love of food, family, and tradition.

Nestled in the Assembly of Deutsche Bank place is Mordeo Bistro & Bar. Mordeo brings a slice of Southern Europe to Sydney’s CBD. This elegant yet casual bistro’s classic Southern European fare is perfectly matched by an extensive wine list and homemade artisan beer.

Mordeo is affectionately designed as a romantic homage to the quintessential southern European bistro. Diners are charmed by its many authentic touches; like walls featuring subway tiles, copper spun pendant lights, a beautiful pressed tin bar and food delivered by expert energetic waiters.
